This Saturday: St Ives Town remembers

St Ives Town FC to join the nation in remembering the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces Community from Britain and the Commonwealth

On Saturday 11th November prior to our first team fixture against Halesowen, we invite you all to join us at St Ives Town F.C. for this event as we pay our respects with a minute’s silence.

At 2.45pm before the 3:00pm kick-off the mayor of St Ives, Cllr Phil Pope will lead the flag bearer and our teams onto the pitch to await the arrival of the first team and our guests Halesowen, accompanied by the match officials. Our under 8 and under 9 teams will be the match mascots for the day. This will be followed by a performance of the Last Post.

We invite all in attendance on the day to join Club representatives and take part in a minute’s silence.

Poppies will be available at the ground and all proceeds will go to the British Legion.
