We are delighted to announce the recent acquisition of Byron Lawrence who will be joining the Ives for the 2024/25 season.

Byron started his career at Ipswich Town before moving to Colchester United. His previous clubs include Bishop Stortford and Billericay before having successful spells at Leiston and Needham Market. He was part of the Needham Market squad that won the league last season. 

St Ives manager Ricky Marheineke said:

“I’ve been a huge admirer of Byron over the years. There have been many occasions I’ve watched Byron run games while playing against us. He is a player that brings a wealth of experience and having won the league last year, he will add that winning mentality to the group. Byron is a perfect fit for the way in which we want the team to play and I’m excited to have him involved.”
