The Buildbase FA Trophy – 1st Round

Although the league campaign is currently paused, the FA Trophy is continuing as per schedule and the Ives head to Lincolnshire for a 1st round clash against Grantham Town.

The Gingerbreads ply their trade at step 3 in the Northern Premier League. They currently sit in 21st place with 3 points from 8 games. They won 2-0 at Yaxley in the previous round. Click here for Grantham’s fixtures & results.

Please note that as Grantham is situated in tier 3, the game sadly is being played behind close doors. DO NOT travel to the game as you will not be allowed in. As per the previous round, the tie will be decided with it going straight to penalties if the score is level after 90 minutes.

This game was postponed on Tuesday 8 December due to a frozen pitch and rescheduled for Thursday 10 December.

The draw for the next two rounds have been made. The winners of tonights tie will travel to National League North side Leamington next Tuesday (15 Dec) in round 2. The winners of that tie will then travel to National League side Wrexham on Saturday 19 Dec in round 3.
