Josh Dawkin making moves on his road to recovery

22 long months have passed since Josh suffered his horror tibia and fibula break away to Chippenham on the final day of the season.

It’s been a long road to recovery for the attacking midfielder and we are delighted to bring some good news.

Josh has been increasing his rehab since pre season and has now been in full contact training since just before Christmas. Josh and club physio Jess have made the decision the next step is to now get game time.

Josh is expected to sign on a dual registration with Soham Town Rangers where he will spend the rest of the season increasing his fitness with an aim of returning for pre season fit and ready to join the squad next season.

From everyone at the club we would like to wish Josh all the best of luck in this next chapter and look forward to having him and his goals back next season.

Toseland comes in on loan

The club are pleased to announce the loan signing of Ben Toseland from Kettering Town FC.

Left sided player Toseland, 20, is a former Northampton Town Scholar who signed for Kettering Town in the summer of 2017. He went on to play over 50 games last season helping the Poppies secure a play off place.

Ben’s game time has been limited of late with Kettering flying high after a fantastic first half to the season. The loan is an initial 28 day period where we hope Ben will have a positive impact and help the team pick up some more valuable points during his stay.

Please join me in welcoming Ben to the club and as always we hope your time with us is a success.

Midfielder joins the Ives

The club are delighted to announce the signing of former MK Dons and Larne FC midfielder Andrew Osei-Bonsu.

The 20 year old came through the ranks at The Dons making 5 appearances for the first team in the EFL Cup in 2016 at the age of 17.

After leave The Dons Andrew had short spells with Wealdstone and Dunstable Town before signing his first professional contract with Larne FC in Northern Ireland.

Since returning home, Andrew has been training with the team while we awaited International clearance. All paperwork and clearance has now been completed and Andrew will join the squad for Saturday’s trip to Halesowen Town.

Please join me in welcoming Andrew to the club and as always we hope your time with us is a successful one.
