St Ives Town manager Ricky Marheineke has today added two new players to his squad.

Joining from Northampton Town on a 28 day loan are Josh Tomlinson and Peter Abimbola. Tomlinson is a 18 year old defender who at the age of 15 became the youngest appearance maker for the Cobblers when in 2021 he came on as a substitute in a Football League Trophy tie against Brighton & Hove Albion under 23’s.

Abimbola is a 19 year old midfielder and like Tomlinson, made his first team debut against Brighton in the same game in 2021. He has had previous loan spells at AFC Rushden & Diamonds and Aldershot Town.

Both players will be available for selection for the FA Trophy tie at home to Kettering Town this Saturday.
