Another released by a League One club, this time Peterborough United exciting 20 year old Luke is an all action midfielder who has returned to the Ives having spent the second half of last season at quattro-tech Westwood Road on loan from the Posh. Luke progressed through the Posh Academy to earn a professional contract at London Road representing the club at under 23 level and catching the eye with some impressive performances. He is one who will be looking to impress with Ives to earn himself a move back into the Football League.

Kellan Hickinson
20 year old attacking midfielder Kellan will be familiar to Ives supporters having spent part of last season on loan from Peterborough United at the Quattro tech Westwood Road. Having spent his development years working his way up through the Posh academy and eventually representing the club at Under 23 level he was released at the end of last season and Ricky has swiftly picked him up to increase his midfield options.
James Dadge
Highly rated 19 year old Northampton Town academy goalkeeper James has joined the Ives on a work experience loan until the end of the season. He will of course already be familiar to Ives supporters as he enjoyed success with the club under a similar arrangement last season, The spell culminating in a man of the match performance when he saved three spot kicks in the shoot out at the end of the County Cup final. The Cobblers have already shown their faith in the young stopper naming him on the bench for a number of first team league and cup fixtures this season. But playing games is equally essential to his development and prior to his arrival at Quattro tech Westwood Road he has also enjoyed a successful spell on loan at Northern Premier League Midland side Harborough Town.

Patrick Casey
22 year old defender Patrick is another who joined the Ives in during 2022/23 season from Northern Premier League Midland Harborough Town. He started his career at Northampton own Academy and since leaving the Cobblers has also appeared for AFC Rushden & Diamonds, Bugbrooke St Michaels and Cogenhoe United. Since his arrival the ever reliable Paddy has made the right back spot his own with a series of solid performances.

Charlie Johnson
Centre back Charlie is no stranger to the Quattro-Tech Westwood Road after playing for the Ives during the aborted 2019/20 season. He started out at Cambridge United featuring in their Under 18 team and has played for Yaxley and St Neots Town since his first spell with the Ives. At St Neots he made over 30 appearances last season. He re-joined the Ives part way through the 2022/23 season from Isthmian League North Division Bury Town.

Myles Cowling
Having spent last season a season long loan at quattro-tech Westwood Road exciting combative midfielder Myles has now become an Ives player following his release from League One Cambridge United. He signed his first professional contract with the U’s in July 2022 but found his early time at the Abbey Stadium interrupted by injury and will miss the early part of this season having had an operation to try an overcome a recurring shin problem. Once fully fit we can again look forward to him making a very big impression in a central midfield role.

Enoch Andoh
Fans favorite Enoch is a 30-year-old winger who joined the Ives from Stratford Town in summer 2022. Born in Ghana, Enoch played in the Ghanaian Premier League before moving to Portuguese club, FC Porto, where he featured in the under 19 team. A move to Cyprus followed where he played for AEL Limassol. In 2014, he moved to the UK and signed for Port Vale and broke into the first team. However, an injury forced his time with The Valiants to come to an end, and he dropped into non-league and has played for the likes of Nuneaton Borough, Hednesford Town and Biggleswade Town before joining the Ives.

Jordan Williams
A virtual ever present last season Jordan is a 25 year old commanding centre back who joined the Ives in summer 2022 from Stratford Town. He started his career at Cambridge United before crossing the river Cam to enjoy two spells at Cambridge City. He then switched to Stratford for his first spell with the Bards. A move to Stourbridge followed before moving back to Stratford. Jordan was part of the Stratford team that played against league one side, Shrewsbury Town in a televised FA Cup first round tie in 2021/22 season.

Greg is an experienced midfielder, who joined the Ives from Nuneaton Borough during 2021/22 season. He started his career at Northampton Town making his football league debut against Gillingham in January 2011. After being released by the Cobblers, he joined Corby Town and then had two spells with National North league side, Brackley Town. He has enjoyed further spells at the likes of Banbury United, Tamworth, AFC Rushden & Diamonds and Stratford Town before signing for the Ives.

Aged 26, Jonny is a striker who started his career at Peterborough United, and was in the same Posh squad as former Ives player, Conor Washington. After several loan spells in non-league, he joined Hull City after a successful trial with their under 21 squad. A move to Accrington Stanley followed before returning to non-league playing for FC Halifax, Maidstone United, Royston Town and most recently, FC Romania. Always a man with an eye for goal and a real handful for any defender Jonny ended last season as Ives leading goal scorer.

Johnny, 33, is a left back who joins the Ives from Peterborough Sports in summer 2022. He started his career at Southend United before being released in 2011. After a brief spell with Ebbsfleet United he then went onto make nearly 150 appearances for Bishop’s Stortford over a 5-year period. A move to St Neots followed before he made the move to Peterborough Sports.

Wide midfield player Tyrone joined the Ives in November 2021 from Isthmian North Division strugglers Basildon United where he had been virtually an ever present over the previous two seasons. Enfield born Tyrone has spent most of his playing career with Isthmian League sides having previously appeared for Bowers & Pitsea and Heybridge Swifts before joining Basildon. He is another who has caught the eye at quattro-tech Westwood Road with his direct running style and excellent finishing.

28 year old midfielder Michael started his career in the youth system at Peterborough United. During his period with the Posh he spent time on loan at Histon, Nuneaton, Whitehawk and Bishop’s Stortford before making two appearances in the football league for the Stevenage both during another loan spell in September 2014. He returned to the Boro as a permanent signing early the following year but soon moved on and spent time at Farnborough, Hemel Hempstead Town and Biggleswade Town before arriving at Kettering Town in 2017 where he became club captain and lead the Poppies to promotion into National League North making 84 appearances and scoring eight goals along the way. He also spent a brief spell in 2019/20 season on loan at Ives Southern League Premier Division Central rivals Nuneaton Borough. A natural leader he brings strength and stability to the middle of the park for the Ives.

Centre back Callum has returned to quattro tech Westwood Road on dual registration having spent the last year playing for Corby Town in Northern Premier League Division One Midland where he has made seventeen appearances and scored one goal. His previous eighteen month spell with the Ives started when he joined the club from Harborough Town in the summer of 2021. As a youngster Callum spent six years on the books of Premier League Aston Villa having started his career with Northampton Town. The commanding central defender has also had spells with Kettering Town, Eynesbury Rovers, Wisbech Town and Bedford Town.

Hugely experienced Ed is a Ghanaian midfielder who made three senior appearances for Italian side Triestina before joining AC Milan in January 2010. Whilst never making a senior appearance for the Italian giants in his six years at the club he had loan spells with lower level Italian sides Lanciano, Nocerina and Venezia. In January 2016 he signed for Inter Milan and whilst, as at AC Milan, not making a senior appearance for his parent club he had loan spells with Portuguese sides Athletico CP and AD Fafe before playing 2017/18 season for Maltese club Sliema Wanderers. Had a brief spell with Kettering Town in 2018/19 before joining Banbury United in November 2018 and moving to Ives a year later. He has quickly made himself a favourite with the Ives fans for his never say die attitude.
