Reserves exit Percy Oldham cup

St Ives Town reserves are out of the Percy Oldham Cup after they lost 1-0 at Sawston United yesterday.

The Ives, who won the competition in 2023, had their task hampered when they were reduced to 10 men following the dismissal of Adrian Hemmings. Ultimately it was the strike from Joe Norton-Palmer for Sawston that separated the two sides and it was the hosts who progress through to the next round.

The reserves are next in action on Saturday (2 November) when they resume their league campaign with a trip to Cottenham United. Kick-off at the King George V Playing Fields in Cottenham is at 2:00pm.
