It’s Monday night football at the Quattro-Tech Westwood Road tomorrow as St Ives welcome Royston Town for more PitchingIn Southern League Premier Division Central action.
The Ives go into the game fresh from a 1-0 defeat at Stratford on Saturday. The loss means that the Ives have only one once in the league all season, and that was at Nuneaton back in August meaning that they are still looking for their first home victory of the campaign. A win against the Crows would be massive as it would lift them out of the bottom four and would provide a welcome confidence boost.
IVES TEAM NEWS
On Saturday, Ives boss Ricky Marheineke welcomed back Myles Cowling and Paddy Casey to the starting line-up after the pair missed the defeat at home to Bromsgrove last weekend. Striker Brandon Njoku started the game at Stratford on the bench but came on in the last ten minutes and may get a start with fellow striker Jonny Edwards partnering him up front. Johnny Herd remains sidelined with injury, so Aaron Smith looks set to deputise in his absence.
