St Ives Town continue their early season league programme on Saturday when they welcome Banbury United to the Quattro-Tech Westwood Road.
IVES TEAM NEWS
The Ives go into the game on the back of a 3-1 victory at home to Lowestoft Town on Monday night. On the scoresheet was new signing Kobe Chong, and he looks set to be included once more. Definitely missing is Michael Richens who has been ruled out with a long term injury whilst there is also a doubt on the fitness of new summer signing Byron Lawrence. Fellow new summer signing Jordan Nicholson looks set to continue with Theo Alexandrou and Jonny Edwards spearheading the Ives forward line.
INTRODUCING BANBURY
Banbury are back at this level following their relegation from the National League North last season. They are unbeaten from their first two games claiming a point against AFC Sudbury and a midweek victory over Barwell. The Puritans will be keen to bounce back to the National League North at the first attempt, and have strengthened their side during the summer by signing the likes of Yaw Ofosu from Alvechurch and striker AJ George who is back for his second spell with Banbury, and has already scored twice this season.
