St Ives Town make the trip to Aveley on Saturday as they continue their pre-season friendly programme.

As with the match against Peterborough Sports on Tuesday, the game will be another tough test for the Ives as they face a team from step two. However, the Ives will take heart from their performance in the FA Trophy against the Millers last season which ended in a narrow defeat.

With three weeks to go until the start of the season, Ives boss Ricky Marheineke will be running his eye over some more trialists as well as confirmed squad members as he looks to finalise numbers for the big kick-off against Stourbridge on 10 August.

Kick-off at the Parkside Stadium is at 3:00pm.
