St Ives Town continue their preparations for the new season when they travel to Berkhamsted for a pre-season friendly on Saturday.

The Ives began their warm-up campaign for the the big kick-off with a 3-0 home defeat to March Town United on Tuesday night, and will be hoping to put in an improved performance against a side they know from last season when Berkhamsted were in the same division with the Ives recording victories in both matches.

Boss Ricky Marheineke will send a squad which will consist of players who have signed for the new season as well as a number of trialists. In the squad is likely to be Peter Abimbola. The midfielder signed for the Ives in midweek after being released by Northampton Town.

Kick-off at the Glencar Community Stadium is at 3:00pm.
