Well, here we are. After 41 games (15 wins, 8 draws, 18 defeats) at Step 4 in The Southern League we have arrived at the final league match of the season. What a fantastic season it has been for everyone involved with the football club both on and off the field.

Aylesbury FC are presently sitting in 14th position of Division One (Central) just one place below the Saints. The Saints secured 13th spot with their recent 4-1 away thrashing of Royston Town on Easter Monday and a win against Aylesbury this Saturday would mean we have every chance of finishing in 12th spot (Unless Aylesbury United win of course!). The club set out their ambitions at the start of the season to remain at Step 4 and create some sustainability. This has been achieved.

In their last match on Easter Monday, Aylesbury pulled off an excellent 3-1 victory at home to Slough Town which dented Slough’s chances of securing their automatic play off place leaving it until the final day of the season.

The bar will stay open after the match for several hours so everyone can enjoy a few drinks. We hope you can all stay behind for a few hours.

If you are looking to cast your vote for the Supporters Player of the Season then please see Louise Thompson during the match.

DON’T FORGET: Next Friday (2nd May) we have the final game of the season as we face St Neots Town in the Senior Cup Final at St Neots Town. Kick off is 7.45pm and it is advisable to get there early to avoid the rush!

DON’T FORGET: We have our presentation evening on Saturday 10th May 2014, kicking off at 7pm so we look forward to seeing you all then.
