At the end of 2012/13 season and whilst everyone was celebrating the fantastic achievement of promotion to The Southern League, behind the scenes the football club were preparing for life at Step 4 off the field with the pending ground grading requirements.
At the end of last season we knew that we would require a number of changes to the football ground by the end of March 2014 to meet with the required standards as set by the FA. Each club has to be inspected and graded and we are delighted to announce that we have met all of the required standards to conform with regulations.
This would not have been possible without the support, time and commitment of many volunteers and supporters in the last few weeks. Thank you to everyone who has helped our football club meet these requirements in time.
The football club would like to place on record a special vote of thanks to Steve Small for his dedication to this ground grading requirement.
Over the coming months there will be various projects / working parties planned to help finish off some areas in readiness for the 2014/15 season. If anyone is able to assist the club then it would be great to see you all down at ProEdge Westwood Road with your gloves and paint brushes!!
Thank you once again to those who has helped us in the last few months and over the years!
