The Ladies kept up their title challenge in the ERWFL D1 with a late winner to seal a 2-1 victory at Lawford Ladies.

Ladies manager Darren Marjoram said –

Definitely not the best performance from the Ladies today, but fair play to Lawford who put in an excellent performance. Good teams never give up and that’s exactly what this bunch did today to get a 2-1 win in injury time! Superb togetherness from everyone in the squad.

Today’s goalscorers were Georgia Stancombe (sponsored by A Stancombe Fencing Contractors) and Emily Smith (sponsored by Gary reed Photography). Another day when the whole squad played their part, but I want to highlight a fantastic performance from Ellie Brown in particular
